In the last quarter of 2023, employers' hourly labour costs grew by 4% in the EU compared to the like period of 2022, show Eurostat data published on Tuesday. In Bulgaria, these costs grew by 11.7% year on year.
Compared to the third quarter of 2023, the hourly labour costs' growth slowed down. In July-September 2023, they grew by 5.6% in the EU and by 15% in Bulgaria.
