GERB-UDF and Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria" (CC-DB) have agreed to begin negotiations at 6 pm on Saturday, GERB leader Boyko Borissov told journalists in Parliament on Friday. The time has been changed because Hristo Ivanov (CC-DB) will attend a meeting of his party's National Council. Borissov said he was "touched by the CC-DB's invitations, but his understanding is that the prime minister should lead the negotiations for a cabinet she can lead."

Asked whether Assen Vassilev should remain finance minister, Borissov said that  the decision is up to Mariya Gabriel, because she would work with those ministers and would be responsible.

Speaking to the media in Parliament on Thursday, the co-leader of Continue the Change Kiril Petkov said that the main topics are the reforms in the regulators, in the justice system, "which will show whether we have a common vision for Bulgaria or not". "On this basis we will continue the talks with the idea that there should bе a cabinet of Mariya Gabriel," Petkov added.
