During the GERB National Conference on Tuesday, GERB leader Boyko Borissov will present to his party a draft of a coalition agreement for governance which they in turn will propose to Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB), said Borissov to the media in Parliament on March 1.

During the National Conference, GERB will answer all the public questions and conditions put out in the last days by the CC-DB leaders, said the party's press centre.
The GERB National Conference  will include the GERB Executive Committee, GERB MPs, regional coordinators, GERB mayors of municipalities and regions, municipal and regional leaders of the party, etc.

Last week, GERB-UDF proposed an agreement on joint governance between the GERB-UDF coalition and the CC-DB coalition until the end of the mandate of the 49th National Assembly.

The agreement will include the division of ministerial posts based on the parliamentary seats of the two coalitions. GERB wants to know clearly which political force bears what responsibility for ministerial nominations. The agreement will also include the right of veto, as proposed by CC-DB, and a new asessment of the ministers, said Borissov last Tuesday.

GERB's proposal radically changes the priorities identified nine months ago, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov commented on Wednesday. Instead of continuing with reform efforts, the focus is on ministerial seats and fighting for posts, he noted.

CC-DB Co-Chair Kiril Petkov expressed similar sentiments. He stated that GERB must show the change will continue if this administration has any chance of continuing as well.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel said: "We will work to have a mechanism in which the responsibility is shared, to bring transparency, to clearly define the priorities of the country, but also to define the responsibilities,".

Both sides have submitted documents that can serve as a basis for negotiations, Prime Minister Denkov notes.

Borissov said that if the two sides do not come to an agreement by March 8, GERB will most likely vote for the resignation of Denkov and the Cabinet and go forward with early elections.
