The mountain hiking conditions are poor, the Mountain Rescue Service told BTA on Saturday.

There is hurricane-force wind, fog and snow in the Balkan Mountains. There is low cloud and fog in the rest of the mountains, with rain showers in the lower parts.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, it will be cloudy and rainy in the mountains, with snow above 1500-1700 m. Strong south-southeasterly wind in the morning, to turn to northwesterly in the afternoon. Highs: 5-6 C at 1,200 m, 0 C at 2,000 m.
