The Council of Ministers approved the Youth Report 2021-2022, the government information service reported Wednesday. The document presents a summary of the state of youth and reports on measures taken and activities aimed at young people in the country, which have been implemented by the responsible institutions in the implementation of the state youth policy in 2021-2022.

The aim of the report is to track the challenges specific to young people, socio-economic realities, youth lifestyles, and their attitudes and values. This allows for the differentiation of short, medium, and long term policy decisions regarding youth policies.

For the purpose of the report, a nationally representative survey of young people in the country on the topic of "Identifying the impact of youth policies on young people in the country" was also implemented on the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sport. The questions set in the survey follow the main themes and priorities of the National Youth Strategy 2021-2030 - improving inter-institutional coordination in the field of youth policy and acquiring experience and skills among young people for inclusion in the values of civil society, science, culture, art, entrepreneurship, healthy lifestyle, and sport.

The government's strategic vision is aimed at building and implementing a unified, coherent and sustainable youth policy in Bulgaria, based on a multi-sectoral approach and cooperation and co-management with young people at national, regional, district and municipal levels.
