Approached by journalists here on Tuesday about the forthcoming Cabinet rotation, President Rumen Radev said he cannot comment on who the next foreign minister should be. It is up to the ruling coalition to decide, he added. "We can all see that these scandals over the distribution of power are ever more tearing the link between power holders and society.

In his words, every time he has held consultations with the parliamentary forces ahead of a government's formation, he has done it to give those forces the opportunity to reach a consensus on the government. "I am acting entirely within the Constitution so as to provide the best possible conditions for the Executive to make its decisions in this process," Radev added.

Asked about the persons with criminal records who are informants of the security services, the President said he cannot comment on the security structures' mechanisms of work. In his words, there is a line the crossing of which may have destructive consequences.

Asked if during his caretaker governments there were ministers who alerted about being pressured, Radev said: "No, such information from caretaker ministers has not reached me. Neither has information from the services," the head of State said.

Asked whether he is establishing a party, Radev said that is question for those political leaders who are talking about the Third of March party. "Ask them what worries them so, but apparently the trampling of all election campaign promises, the violation of elementary principles in the coalition does not yield a result in society's interest," he argued. In his words, that is why citizens are seeking an alternative. "If I put my trust in a political force, I will announce that myself," he underscored.
