The Judges Chamber of Bulgaria's Supreme Judicial Council will hear on Tuesday acting Prosecutor General Borislav Sarafov and investigative journalist and co-founder of the Anti-Corruption Fund Foundation Nikolay Staykov.

The occasion is information about a private club of Martin Bozhanov, aka the Notary, frequented by magistrates. The suggestion was made by the member of the judges’ chamber Dragomir Koyadzhikov. With eleven votes in favour, it was adopted by the chamber, and it includes requesting from the prosecutor's office reports on pre-trial proceedings initiated on alerts of pressure against judges.

Martin Bozhanov was killed in Sofia on January 31. The prosecution service entered a private club "SS" in the capital's "Geo Milev" district, associated with Bozhanov. During the searches, various media and computers were seized. The prosecution service is checking whether magistrates were members of the club, whether and why they went there. At the moment there are pre-trial proceedings for an organized criminal group, of which Bozhanov was part, established for the purpose of exerting pressure on magistrates, for property fraud and money laundering.  It has also become known that Bozhanov has changed the digits of his unified civil number, as well as his surname, and the police are checking the reasons and the way this happened.
