Bulgarian volleyball referee Ivaylo Ivanov will officiate matches at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation (BVF) reported on Wednesday. Ivanov was notified with a personal letter from Ary Graca, the President of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

Ivanov refereed the final of the 2023 FIVB Club World Championship.

The previous volleyball referee from Bulgaria to officiate at the Summer Olympics was Konstantin Tiufekchiev during the 2008 Games in Beijing, the BVF said.
