Bulgarian Ambassador Metin Kazak met with the Speaker of the House of Representatives in the Jordanian Parliament Ahmad Al-Safadi, the Embassy in Amman said on Facebook.

The focus of the meeting was to reaffirm the importance of parliamentarism in the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Jordan.

The Ambassador expressed confidence about the good prospects in this direction with the fact that a Bulgaria-Jordan friendship group has already been established in the Bulgarian National Assembly.

For his part, Al-Safadi expressed his willingness and readiness to visit Bulgaria soon at the head of a parliamentary delegation.

The two sides once again confirmed the good level of cooperation between Bulgaria and Jordan in various fields.
