Renowned Bulgarian graffiti artist Stanislav Trifonov-Nasimo is working on a new project for monumental frescoes on school facades. The artist announced the charity initiative at a meeting with students and the leadership of the Tsar Simeon Veliki Vocational Technical School in Targovishte, which he graduated. The first activities are being planned and in the spring the transformation of the school facade will begin, said principal Nikolay Nikolov.

An initiative of the school, “The Good Example”, made possible the meeting with one of the school’s most successful alumni, Nasimo. More than 25 years ago one boy from the school along with the difficult technical projects and math problems, carried a file of drawings and used every spare minute to draw, the school staff say. There he made his first monumental panels and paintings signed “Stanislav”. Today this young man is one of the most recognizable faces from Targovishte.

In 2016 he was nominated for the Enlightener of the Year Award by the Bulgarian National Television and FM+ Radio and in 2018 he was recognized by the Municipality of Targovishte for his contribution to the development of culture. His works can be seen in dozens of countries around the world and some take up the facades of multi-story buildings.

The school principal said that from 2024-2025 the school will begin to train students in advertising graphic design and that a professional software has been purchased and the necessary equipment is being provided.

Students will be able to take an internship at European educational centres.
