site.btaBurgas to Host 22nd Sofia Film Fest at the Coast in March

The 22nd edition of Sofia Film Fest at the Coast will take place between March 21 and 29 in the coastal city of Burgas, the organizers reported. The Festival's main venue will be the Burgas Cultural Centre.

Traditionally, the opening ceremony on March 21 will feature performances by the Burgas Wind Orchestra.

For nine days guests will be able to enjoy a selection of the best local and foreign titles from the Sofia Film Fest programme in the capital. Some of the latest Bulgarian films will be presented personally by their authors.

The programme will include 12 short films, one of which will receive the Governor's Award. The feature film titles will compete for one of the two big awards - the Burgas Municipality Award and the Audience Award.

The accompanying programme will include a screening for visually impaired people, a film exhibition and a literary evening.

The Sofia edition of the Film Fest will take place March 13-31.
