January 6: Scattered clouds throughout the day, will thicken in the evening. Rain in the southernmost parts of Bulgaria, mainly in the Rhodopes. Light to moderate south-southwesterly wind (temporarily strong in the Danubian Plain. Highs: 10C to 15C, 13C in Sofia.

Black Sea coast: Scattered clouds will thicken in the evening. Moderate, temporarily strong south-southwesterly wind. Highs: 13C to 18C. Seawater temperature: 9C to 10C. Sea waves: 2-3 degrees Douglas.

Mountains: Scattered clouds. Rain at lower altitudes in the evening, snow above 1,800 metres. Moderate, temporarily strong southwesterly wind. Highs: 9C at 1,200 metres, 3C at 2,000 metres.

January 7: Overcast. Showers in southwestern Bulgaria, thundery showers in the Rhodopes. Moderate to strong southern wind, which will weaken by the evening. Temperatures will remain higher than the usual ones for January.
