At its regular meeting here on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers approved a draft agreement on co-production and cinematographic exchange between Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Morocco, the Government Information Service reported. The document is an important step in broadening the bilateral cooperation.
Morocco has developed cinematographic works and highly skilled professionals with whom Bulgarian artists could cooperate successfully, the press release reads. The agreement also allows for broader distribution of the completed cinematographic works. Bulgaria and Morocco are a big and new market for each other from which many advantages can be drawn.
The draft agreement also contributes to the popularizing and distribution of films by organizing on a reciprocity basis Weeks of Bulgarian and Moroccan Cinema.
