December 16: Rain will turn to snow in most parts of Bulgaria. There will be snow showers until noon in Northern Bulgaria and throughout the whole day in Southern Bulgaria. Snow cover will grow thicker. There will be blizzard and snowdrift conditions in the mountain passes and in the East. Moderate to strong wind in South Central and Southeastern Bulgaria. Highs: 0C to 5C, 0C to 1C in Sofia.

Black Sea coast: Mostly cloudy. Showers will stop by noon in the North and by the evening in the South. Moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Highs: 3C to 6C. Seawater temperature: 9C to 11C. Sea waves: 3 to 4 degrees Douglas.

Mountains: Mostly cloudy and snowy. There will be blizzard and snowdrift conditions. Moderate to strong northeasterly wind. Highs: -2C at an altitude of 1,200 metres, -5C at 2,000 metres.
  
December 17: Showers will stop, clouds will scatter. Mostly sunny. Wind will weaken and shift from northwest. Lows: -7C to -8C. Highs: 2C to 7C.
