Council of Ministers Appoints Head of Bulgarian Part of Bulgaria - Baden-Württemberg Intergovernmental Commission

At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers appointed the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Nikolay Pavlov as Chair of the Bulgarian part of the Bulgaria - Baden-Württemberg Joint Intergovernmental Commission, said the Cabinet press centre.

The intergovernmental commission created in 2006 has established itself as an effective tool for coordination and development of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest between Bulgaria and the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg.

The activity of the commission significantly contributes to the expansion of bilateral relations in priority areas such as increasing administrative capacity, supporting reforms in the field of justice and internal order. It also promotes regional cooperation, investment attraction, innovation, education, science and culture.
