Bulgarian universities were the most numerous among higher educational institutions from six European countries (Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland and Spain) participating in the first Study in Europe Fair in Lagos on October 28, the Bulgarian Embassy in Abuja said on Facebook.

The eight Bulgarian universities that took part in the event were the Varna Free University, the St Kliment University of Sofia, the Trakia University of Stara Zagora, the Technical University of Varna, the Technical University of Sofia, the National Sports Academy, the University of National and World Economy and the Prof. Dr Asen Zlatarov University of Burgas, the diplomatic mission said. 

The Fair, initiated jointly by the European Union Delegation to Nigeria and EU Member States, offered valuable opportunities for Nigerian students to explore educational prospects in Europe.
