site.btaBulgarian, Turkish Navy Headquarters Hold Talks in Varna

Headquarters representatives of the Bulgarian Navy and of the Turkish Naval Forces held talks in Varna between November 7 and 9, 2023, the Bulgarian Navy said in a press release on Thursday.

The Turkish team was headed by Rear Admiral Gökçen Fırat, Director of the Turkish Naval Forces Defence Planning and Project Management Directorate.

The talks are held once every two years and are hosted on a reciprocal basis.

During the talks, the sides discussed matters of mutual interest, the joint events held and the planning of forthcoming ones.
