site.btaHaskovo Sees Its Warmest October 31 Ever

An absolute temperature record for the last day of October was registered in Haskovo, the local hydro-meteorological observatory reported. The temperature in the afternoon reached 27.4 C, the highest value in the entire more than 100-year history of weather monitoring in the southern regional centre.

The highest temperature ever recorded for October 31 - 25.6 C - was measured in 1961, the observatory said.

The previous temperature records in Haskovo were recorded consecutively on October 21, 22 and 23 this year, and on October 28 the 1960 record of 28.5 C was equalled.
