site.btaDays of Bulgarian Culture to Be Held in Hungarian City of Szeged
Days of Bulgarian Culture will be held for the 19th time in the Hungarian city of Szeged, said Monika Farkas Barathi, who is President of the Bulgarian Self-Government in Szeged.
On October 26, the Balkan dance group will perform various horo (traditional Bulgarian circle dance) performances at the Radnoti cafe.
On October 27, Antoni Georgiev’s photo exhibition titled Jewish Heritage in Bulgaria will be put on display at the House of Nationalities in Szeged. The exhibition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the rescue of Bulgarian Jews.
On October 28, Malko Teatro will present a children's story titled Hitar Petar in the Forest at the House of Nationalities.
The Bulgarian Culture Days will continue in November. Military historian Lajos Nedeszi will give a lecture on November 7 and a concert by the Zűrös Banda musical group will take place on November 10.
