site.btaNational Council for Tripartite Cooperation to Discuss Poverty Line for 2024

The National Council for Tripartite Cooperation (NCTC) will discuss the poverty line in Bulgaria for 2024 at the suggestion of Labour and Social Policy Minister Ivanka Shalapatova.

The draft proposes to increase the poverty line for 2024 by BGN 22 to BGN 526. This would be an increase of 4.4%.

The NCTC agenda includes six more items. Finance laws that have already passed public consultation will be discussed - proposals for amendments to the Value Added Tax Act, the Personal Income Act, the Tax and Social Insurance Procedure Code, among others.
