site.btaMinister Vatev to Attend EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council in Luxembourg

On Monday, Minister of Agriculture and Food Kiril Vatev will participate in the EU Agriculture and Fisheries (AGRIFISH) Council meeting in Luxembourg.

The agenda of the ministerial meeting includes the state of the market, in particular in the wake of the invasion in Ukraine, the establishment of an effective and simplified mechanism for ad-hoc financial support in case of crisis, the Waste Framework Directive - food aspects and the prospects for organic farming.

Minister Vatev will present the state of agricultural markets in Bulgaria, including cereals and oilseeds, milk, honey, meat and eggs, fruit and vegetables.
