site.btaMan Arrested in Petrich after Border Police Seize Cannabis

Border police officers have found some 3 kilograms of marijuana left to dry in a private home in the border town of Petrich, Southwestern Bulgaria, the Border Police Directorate said on Tuesday.

Cannabis plants with a total weight of 7.3 kilograms were also found in the yard of the property.

The owner, a 38-year-old man, has been detained. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated. The prosecution service has been informed about the case.
