Bulgaria won two gold medals at the Baltic Nations Weightlifting Cup in Klaipeda, Lithuania. The tournament was organized to celebrate the 100th anniversary of weightlifting in Lithuania.

In the women’s 49 kg weight class, Boyana Kostadinova took the title with a total of 114 kg.

In the men’s 61 kg weight class, Dzan Zarkov won the title with a total of 199 kg (a snatch lift of 87 kg and a clean and jerk lift of 112 kg).

The Baltic Nations Cup gathered weightlifters from 12 countries, with Bulgarian athletes receiving special invitations.
