Boxer Yordan Morejon qualified for the final in the heavyweight division at the European Boxing Confederation Elite Men Boxing Cup 2023, which is taking place in Budva, Montenegro. The naturalized Cuban, competing for Bulgaria, scored a 5-0 win over Vladan Babic (Serbia). He will face Croatia's Marko Milun for the gold medal on Saturday.

Thus, Morejon became the fourth Bulgarian boxer to reach a final in the tournament. Ergyunal Sebahtin, Yasen Radev and Radoslav Rosenov will also fight for titles on Saturday.

The Bulgarian men’s national boxing team is led by coaches Joel Arate, Valentin Poptolev and Aleksandar Aleksandrov.
