site.btaGovernment Allocates BGN 18.6 Mln to Reimburse Itinerant Teachers

At its meeting on Wednesday, the Council of Ministers allocated a total of BGN 18,588,013 for the reimbursement of transport costs or rent at the place of work of teaching professionals who work in a location outside their place of residence.

The amount will reimburse 17,497 teaching professionals from 2,821 municipal educational institutions in the pre-school and school education systems, including 3,690 itinerant teachers from 1,081 kindergartens, 13,650 itinerant teachers from 1,684 schools and 157 teaching professionals from 56 personal development support centres.

The allocated funds will also reimburse the rental costs of 57 teaching professionals from 45 institutions.
