On the Day of Sofia (September 17), The Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (CC-DB) coalition and Save Sofia organization registered a broader coalition for the local elections in Sofia in October – United for Sofia.

Mayoral candidate Vassil Terziev, nominated by CC-DB and Save Sofia, told journalists: On the Day of Sofia, the holiday of the city we love, we register for the local elections in Sofia. We cannot wait to make good on our promise and show up united in these elections. All progressive and democratic people to take the city forward. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all the citizens of the capital on this festive occasion. I wish them to be alive and healthy and to work together for a better, more modern European city, because it depends not only on us as political representatives, but also on each one of the citizens. Together we can turn Sofia into the European capital we dream of".

Representatives of the coalition recalled that their goal is to win the local elections in first round, as well as to gain a majority in the Sofia Municipal Council.
