The five-member jury of the 19th World Festival of Animated Film in Varna - Lyudmil Hristov, Alice Saey, Raimund Krumme, Noel Palazzo and Robert Sowa - announced the award winners on Sunday:
Grand Prix: Lea Vidakovic's short film Family Portrait (Croatia)
Special diploma for a short film: Soetkin Verstegen's Beautiful Figures (Belgium)
Best Feature Film: Nuno Beato's Os Demonios do meu Avo (Portugal)
Special diploma for a feature film: Eduard Schuldt's A Giant Adventure (Peru)
Best Children's Animation: Malgorzata Rybak's Not a Fairy Tale (Poland)
Diploma for Children's Animation: Aline Quertain's Wild Tale (Belgium)
Best Student Film: Milly Yencken's The Eastern Rain (Estonia)
Diplomas for Student Film: Lucie Grannec's Furrie (France) and Katarzyna Orlowska's Half Empty (Poland)
Best Horror Film: Ricardo Kump's The Cactus (Brazil)
Best Erotic Film: Matea Kovac's Y (Croatia)
Best Bulgarian Film: Spartak Yordanov's Depersonalization (also Debut Award and Union of Bulgarian Film Makers Award)
Best Young Artist: Tom Koryto Blumen (Israel) for Friendly Fire
Lyudmil Hristov said the jury had seen 127 films in three days. Jury members Raimund Krumme and Alice Saey praised the quality of all films.
The award ceremony is taking place at the Festival and Congress Centre of Varna on Sunday evening.
