site.btaSports Minister Iliev Confers with Iranian Ambassador to Bulgaria Irvash

Youth and Sports Minister Dimitar Iliev conferred here with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bulgaria, Ali Reza Irvash, the Youth and Sports Ministry reported here on Monday.

The discussions focused on the finalization and signing of a memorandum of understanding in the field of sports between the two counties, which provides for the exchange of information, sharing educational, scientific and cultural experience, participation in sporting events, festivals, camps, exchange of experts, referees, coaches, etc.

The meeting also discussed the organization of joint sports camps. A request was made to the Bulgarian side to provide coaches for the development of women’s sports in Iran in volleyball, waters sports and wrestling.
