Ways to boost investments between the UAE and Bulgarian companies and to deepen cooperation in culture and tourism were the highlights of Friday's meeting between Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and UAE Ambassador Sultan Rashid Sultan Alkaitoob Alnuaimi, the government information service said.

Denkov talked about the regional transport and energy projects on which Bulgaria is working and could be of interest to UAE businesses. The Prime Minister stressed the key priority of Bulgaria's energy policy is the diversification of sources and routes for oil and gas imports. Denkov also emphasized the opportunities for cooperation with leading Bulgarian R&D institutes.
