site.btaPamporovo Bike Fest Opens on Thursday

The eight edition of Pamporovo Bike Fest will open at the mountain resort of the same name on Thursday. Athletes from three continents will arrive for the largest mountain biking tournament in Bulgaria for the year.

Nearly 160 bikers from Bulgaria, Greece, Turkiye, North Macedonia, Romania, the UK, New Zealand, France and Italy will entre the race. Among the Bulgarian bikers are world and European champion Izabela Yankova, and Balkan champion Denitsa Tosheva. The course is nearly 2 km-long.

On the programme of Pamporovo Bike Fest 2023 is an international downhill race on the calendar of the International Cycling Union, a round of the Bulgarian downhill series and a round of the junior championship.

Pamporovo Bike Fest will continue until July 30.
