site.btaCode Red Weather Warning Issued for Seven Regions on Wednesday

A Code Red weather warning for extreme temperatures has been issued for the regions of Ruse, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Sliven, Haskovo, Yambol and Burgas.

On Wednesday temperatures there are expected to be at and above 42C. Isolated brief showers, with thunderstorms and hail in the afternoon are expected too.

A Code Orange has been issued for 15 regions on Wednesday, for hot weather with maximum temperatures of 39C-41C.

For the regions of Pernik, Sofia, Sofia, Region and Montana, a Code Yellow has been issued for high temperatures of between 35C and 38C. 

Thunderstorms are expected for the large part of the country.
