site.btaCOVID-19 Update: Cases Surpass 300,000 Test Positivity Rate at 21.2%

March 21 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 302,48, after 11,979 tests identified 2,541 new infections in the past 24 hours, according to data posted on https://coronavirus.bg/. The test positivity rate now stands at 21.2 per cent.

The active cases are 56,277. Currently, the hospitalized patients number 8,545, including 691 in intensive care.

Another 641 COVID-19 patients have recovered over the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 234,237.

Thirty-four fatalities were reported in the past day, and the death toll now adds up to 11,966.

With 3,822 new inoculations over the last 24 hours,366,547 persons in aggregate have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. RI/DT
