site.btaFour Killed in Ballistic Missile Attack in Odesa Region

A two-storey building where civilians lived and worked was destroyed by a Russian ballistic missile attack, Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said on Telegram.

Kiper said emergency crews rescued four people, while three died under the rubble. The victims are a woman aged 43; a man aged 22, and a girl, 16. Another woman died in hospital from her injuries.

Ten more people were injured, of whom four are in critical condition.

Bulgarians are the third largest ethnic group in Odesa Region, numbering more than 150,000 people, according to the official 2001 census in Ukraine. Between 50,000 and 60,000 Bulgarians live in the regional capital, Odesa. Bulgarians in the region are concentrated in the districts of Bolhrad, Izmail, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.
