site.btaCOVID-19 Update: 115 New Cases, Test Positivity Rate at 1.46%

May 30 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria reached 418,221 after 7,850 tests identified 115 new
infections on Saturday, according to data posted on
https://coronavirus.bg/ early on Sunday. The test positivity
rate now stands at 1.46 per cent.

The active cases are 20,205. Currently, the hospitalized
patients number 3,197, including 364 in intensive care.

The capital Sofia tops the list of new cases with 16 positive
tests, followed by Varna Region with 15 and Bourgas Region with
13.

Another 105 COVID-19 patients recovered over the last 24 hours,
bringing the total to 380,359.

Five fatalities were reported, and the death toll now stands at
17,657.

With 7,074 inoculations over the last 24 hours,1,348,204 persons
 in aggregate have been vaccinated against the coronavirus, of
whom 548,911 are fully vaccinated.
