Sofia, November 5 (BTA) - Bulgaria Air and ITA Airways have signed an agreement offering passengers more frequent flights at convenient hours to many destinations in Bulgaria and Italy as of November 8, the national air carrier said on Friday.

The partnership will strengthen the connection between the two countries, offering Italian passengers the opportunity to fly from Rome or Milan to Sofia, Varna or Burgas with Bulgaria Air, the air carrier said. In turn, passengers of the Bulgarian company will be able to book flights to a number of places where ITA Airways has regular flights.

As of November 8, Bulgaria Air will add its FB code to 14 regular ITA Airways regular flights from Rome. Passengers will be able to fly to Bari, Bologna, Brindisi, Genoa, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Milan (Linate central airport), Naples, Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Trieste, Turin, Venice, and Verona. The partnership also allows Bulgaria Air passengers to fly along 9 of ITA AirwaysТ international routes - Amsterdam, Barcelona, Brussels, London (Heathrow), Malta, Nice, Paris, Tel Aviv and Tirana.

The joint flights have been included in the two companies' booking systems and can be booked through both the websites of the air carriers and the travel agent network. VE/BR
