Sofia, August 3 (BTA) - The National Front for Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB) and the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization - Bulgarian National Movement (IMRO-BNM) signed a coalition agreement on Sunday to run in the early parliamentary elections as the Patriotic Front coalition, NFSB's press office said.
A Public Council was set up which can be joined by other parties sharing the patriotic ideal.
The NFSB was established in 2011 by defectors from the nationalist Ataka party. The IMRO was part of a coalition with Bulgaria without Censorship led by journalist-turned-politician Nikolai Barekov before joining the Patriotic Front.
The Political Agreement sets the following key tasks: to revitalize the Bulgarian economy, fight the monopolies, establish modern education and health care and a fair, non-corrupt judicial system.
NFSB co-chairman Valeri Simeonov urged that partisan egoism should be left behind and Bulgaria's interests should be put first.
IMRO Chairman Krassimir Karakachanov said the choice is not between the Left and the Right, the Bulgarian interest is all that matters.
