Sofia, August 17 (BTA) - If GERB is part of those in power after October 5, there will be at least ten Bulgarian Muslim deputy ministers, said GERB leader Boyko Borissov during the opening of a playground in the village of Pripek (South Bulgaria), quoted by "Dariknews" on Sunday.

"The more Muslims in power, the better. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) are outdoing us in this regard. So, now in our areas, where there is mostly a mixed population, we are taking everyone who is educated and with a good reputation and we will give them a path to develop," Borissov commented.

Commenting Borissov's statement, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Mihail Mikov told journalists that a coalition between GERB and MRF is in the making, BSP's press centre said.

GERB do not have that many Muslim cadres which are prepared and obviously things are pointing to a coalition between them and MRF, Mikov said.

According to him, Borissov's comments come as a response to MRF deputy leader Rushen Riza's statement from a few days ago, that MRF could work with GERB after the parliamentary elections if it is in the State's interest, as well as the joint actions of the two political forces towards the end of the 42nd National Assembly, which are precisely the requested banking vacation and the budget update.
