site.btaPatriotic Front Coalition Files Document to Take Part in October 5 Early Elections

Sofia, August 18 (BTA) - The coalition named Patriotic Front: National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria (NFSB) and Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (IMRO), Monday filed documents with the Central Election Commission registering to run in the October 5 early parliamentary elections.

NFSB Co-chairman Dancho Hadjiev said that "the Patriotic Front will be the biggest opponent of the political monopoly in the new Parliament, as well as an uncompromising corrective of the powers who work counter to Bulgaria's interests". IMRO Deputy Chairman Angel Djambazki for his part said that the Patriotic Front will "fight for the Bulgarian national cause". "It is high time the Movement for Rights and Freedoms is ousted from power," he said.

Representatives of the Patriotic Front said that their list will include people "with a cause who did not take part in the plundering of the State".
