Sofia, August 19 (BTA) - Deputy Prime Minister in charge of economy Ekaterina Zaharieva and Economy and Energy Minister Vassil Shtonov on Tuesday are departing on a visit to Brussels, said the Regional Development Ministry. Within the framework of the visit, the ministers will meet European Commission Vice President and Energy Commissioner Guenther Oettinger and officials of the Directorate-General for Energy.

On the agenda will be the need for reforms to stabilize Bulgaria's energy sector, energy projects that are key to Bulgaria, risks of suspended gas supplies from Russia and the need for boosted cooperation between EU members in the area of energy.
