Varna, on the Black Sea, August 22 (BTA) - Varna Airport reports a nearly 6 per cent increase in number of passengers compared to the like period a year ago, Airport Director Dimiter Kostadinov said on Friday, welcoming the 1,000,000th passenger at the airport for 2014.

The biggest growth, 12 per cent, is in the number of passengers from Germany. The investments made in the Varna Airport in 2014 total 2 million euros.
