Reformist Bloc Announces Top-of-the-List
Candidates for October 5
Elections


Sofia, August 30 (BTA) - The Right-wing Reformist Bloc (RB)
announced Saturday its top-of-the-list candidates for the
October 5 snap general elections. Тhe names were made public
after an enlarged meeting of the RB Citizens Board.

Union of Democratic Forces leader Bozhidar Loukarski and
Bulgaria for the Citizens leader Meglena Kuneva top the lists in
the 23rd and 25th multi-member constituencies in Sofia.
Democrats for Strong Bulgaria leader Radan Kanev tops the list
in Varna. Peter Moskov tops the list in Sofia's 24th
multi-member constituency. Korman Ismailov, leader of the
Freedom and Dignity People's Party, tops the list in Kurdjali,
Kassim Dal in Silistra, and Nayden Zelenogorski in Pleven, to
mention but a few of the leading candidates.

The RB said that the lists were not drawn up on the basis of
party quotas and that the candidates were selected for their
