Supreme Court of Cassation
Sofia, September 25 (BTA) - The Supreme Judicial Council
Thursday failed to elect a President of the Supreme Court of
Cassation.
None of the two applicants for the post, the court's deputy
presidents Tanya Raikovska and Pavlina Panova, managed to garner
the required 17 votes "for". Fifteen of the SJC members voted
for Raikovska and nine - for Panovska.
The hearings of the applicants continued for nearly six
