Music by Antonio Vivaldi, performed by Quarto chamber orchestra will be featured in a "Venetian Magic" concert on March 1 at Sofia’s Bulgaria Hall, the organizers said.

"In his works, storms raise waves, winds whisper ancient secrets, and the sun illuminates everything with dazzling light. At this concert, the musicians will present the aroma of a rural landscape and fragrant flowers in the piece Alla rustico, festive trumpets in a Venetian square, an extravagant young lady from the Venetian carnival, the dance of swaying ships amidst a sea storm, beautiful hunting songs in the forest, and exalted street musicians to conclude," Quarto members shared.

The program includes the ‘Concerto for Two Trumpets in C Major, ‘Concerto for Violin in E Minor’ (La Stravaganza), ‘Concerto for Violin in E-flat Major’ (La Tempesta di Mare), ‘Concerto for Cello in D Minor’, and ‘Concerto for Violin and Cello in B-flat Major’.

The soloists are Ivan Penchev – violin, Dimitar Tenchev – cello, Petar Makedonski – trumpet, Sivo Penev – trumpet, and Konstantin Ilievski – cembalo.
