Decides on Markup of
Electricity Prices
Sofia, October 1 (BTA) - The State Energy and Water Regulatory
Commission (SEWRC) adopted a final decision on new higher prices
of electricity, effective as of October 1.
The price of electricity for CEZ customers will change as
follows: daytime electricity appreciates by 9.97 per cent and
night-time electricity - by 9.84 per cent.
The price for EVN customers changes as follows: daytime
electricity goes up by 9.70 per cent and night-time electricity
- by 9.35 per cent.
The price for ENERGO-PRO customers changes as follows: daytime
electricity goes up by 9.80 per cent and night-time electricity
- by 9.51 per cent.
The report envisages an increase of the price at which the
National Electric Company (NEK) as public supplier sells
electricity to end suppliers from 114.10 leva/MWh to 125.32
leva/MWh, which is an increase by 9.83 per cent.
The 'public obligation' price goes up from 17.37 leva/MWh to
18.93 leva/MWh. This will bring an increase of the price for
non-household consumers on the free market connected to the low
and medium-voltage grids by 2.2 per cent and 1.6 per cent,
