Condemns Terrorist Attacks in

Sofia, February 15 (BTA) - The Movement for Rights and Freedoms
(MRF) condemns, now more strongly than after the attacks against
Charlie Hebdo in Paris, the terrorist attacks in Copenhagen
which claimed human lives, reads a position of MRF leader Lyutvi
Mestan circulated by his party's press office on Sunday.

The fact that within a short time period there are yet more
terrorist acts, shows that terrorism is the biggest and most
formidable global challenge facing the contemporary
civilization. Therefore, countering terrorism requires global
efforts, Mestan says in his statement. According to the MRF
leader, the national countries' security systems should be
strengthened through even more effective international
cooperation.

Mestan sees as the most reliable means of preventing terrorism's
risks the conduct of consistent policy on widening the
civilization zone of security. In his words, this zone is the
achievement of new democratic balances based on tolerance and
mutual respect between the ethnic and religious differences.

Counteracting terrorism is a humane duty of each citizen on
Earth, irrespective of ethnic origins, race and religion,
Mestan's statement reads.
