Nearly 4.3 Million People Insured in Pension Funds at End of  2014


Sofia, February 18 (BTA) - As at December 31, 2014, the total
number of people insured in the four types of pension funds:
universal, professional, voluntary and voluntary with
professional schemes, reached 4,290,898 persons, which is 2.45
per cent more year-on-year, the Financial Supervision Commission
said.

Net assets worth 8,164,549,000 leva have been accumulated in the
system for supplementary pension insurance, 19.91 per cent more
than at the end of 2013.

The total revenue of the pension insurance funds in 2014
amounted to 148,303,000 leva, which is 13.97 per dent more than
the preceding year. The aggregate net financial results of the
pension funds in 2014 amounted to 41,050,000 leva.
