Parliament Considers First Change in Second Borissov Cabinet

Sofia, March 11 (BTA) - The Bulgarian Parliament opened a debate
on Wednesday about a proposed change to the cabinet. The
proposal includes removing Interior Minister Vesselin Vouchkov
from office after he tendered his resignation on March 4 and
appointing Deputy Prime Minister Roumyana Buchvarova to replace
him. Buchvarova has been recommended to the post by Prime
Minister Boyko Borissov.

This will be the first change in the second cabinet of Prime
Minister Borissov since it took office four months ago.
Borissov's first stint as Prime Minister was between 2009 and
2013.

The Prime Minister and members of his cabinet are in the
debating chamber of Parliament.

The parliamentary group of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms
walked out of the chamber after Patriotic Front Floor Leader
Valeri Simeonov made a statement which offended them.
