Energy and Water Regulator Sets Lower Prices for All District Heating Companies from July 1

Sofia, June 30 (BTA) - The Energy and Water Regulatory
Commission (EWRC) has set lower prices for all district heating
utilities as of July 1, Chairman Ivan Ivanov said on Tuesday.
Prices are going down as follows: about 6 per cent in Sofia,
13.5 per cent in Bourgas, 12 per cent in Veliko Turnovo, and
between 7 and 9 per cent elsewhere.

These are price cuts from the latest price change in April, said
 Ivanov. Compared to July 1, 2014, the price cuts are even
bigger: nearly 13 per cent in Sofia, 9.56 per cent in Plovdiv,
10.7 per cent in Pleven, 13.5 per cent in Bourgas, about 10 per
cent in Varna, 12 per cent in Vratsa, 16 per cent in Veliko
Turnovo, 14 per cent in Razgrad, 0.6 per cent in Rousse, about
11 per cent in Pernik, 8.5 per cent in Sliven and 2.6 per cent
in Gabrovo.
