Bulgarian Government Leader Congratulates Theresa May on Taking Over as UK Prime Minister

Sofia, July 14 (BTA) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov congratulated Theresa May on taking over as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Bulgarian government press service reported on Thursday.

In his message, Borissov wrote: "I believe that in the difficult period that you are assuming this great responsibility, you will find the best solutions for the United Kingdom and Europe. I wish you good luck and courage, and may God be with you in your work!"

In a separate letter to outgoing UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Borissov wrote: "I want to thank you for the efforts you made at the helm of the United Kingdom for the development of relations with the Republic of Bulgaria and for raising them to a higher level of confidence. I trust you to use your experience to keep up the good contacts between our governments and peoples."

Borissov expressed his excellent impressions of his cooperation and personal relationship with Cameron and wished his family good health, happiness and success.
