Border Police Stops 412 Migrants at Bulgarian-Turkish Border in Four Days

Sofia, August 22 (BTA) - In the period from 6:00 am on August 19 to 6:00 am on August 22 Border Police prevented 412 migrants to cross the Bulgarian-Turkish border, the police said Monday.

Border Police have also detained 286 illegal migrants over the same period. A total of 67 aliens were detained while attempting to cross the Bulgarian-Turkish border illegally. Another 219 citizens of third countries were detained while trying to leave the country and cross into Serbia.
